Sign of infection: It is bad to have bleeding gums. Gums should not bleed while brushing or flossing. Bleeding means infection, either gingivitis or more serious periodontitis. Please see a dentist asap for an exam and cleaning. Make sure you are brushing and flossing at least twice a day..
