Home care: Before anything else lets make sure your homecare is up to snuff. First, floss between each interdental space carefully then brush each quadrant of your mouth for at least 30 sec . For a minimum total of 2 min. If there is a lot of sugar in your diet, cut way back on that. If this solves th problem, congratulations. If not or if you are already doing these things, follow dr. Achong's advice.

Your dentist should: Be able to diagnose exactly what's caused the history of your bleeding gums as well as how to treat it and prevent its return. If he\she can't do that, you are seeing the wrong dentist. If you haven't understood what needs to be done, have not followed through on home care and other dental treatment or have been not been diligent with all that, you need to take responsibility. C a periodontist.
