Initial insomnia: You have what is called initial insomnia because it occurs in the first part of the night. It is typically seen most commonly in generalized anxiety disorder which is a condition of worry with the physical tension especially in the neck and shoulder regions and a lot of "what if" thinking and catastrophic thinking. It's hallmark is anticipatory anxiety. Please see your family doctor or a psychiatrist for treatment and also get involved in psychotherapy. Best wishes.
