More often: Ideally, you clean your teeth completely once a day before going to bed. That means: clean in between (floss, toothpicks, interdental brushes) and the face/tongue/chewing surfaces with a toothbrush. If desired, an extra time after breakfast will improve social standing. To prevent decay, watch your diet: decrease sugar and dietary acids. Food in braces may increase decay, but diet is main cause.
