Could be: Could be bacteria that was not removed from this area that has now calcified into calculus (tarter). See your Dentist to have your teeth professionally cleaned. You may need more frequent cleanings during your Orthodontic care. Could also be a little excess bonding material left over from when your braces were placed. Check with your Orthodontic Specialist at your next visit.
