A member asked:

Just got my braces off, and when i brush my teeth, my teeth start bleeding! what is wrong?

Is it your teeth?: It is probably your gums that are bleeding. If your teeth are bleeding that would be unusual and extremely painful. I will assume it is your gums. Sometimes after braces are removed it could be a couple of things like; plaque, slight mobility of the teeth stretching the periodontal ligament or your bite. Please consult with your general dentist to make sure that everything is within normal limits.
