Give it time: While in braces, you may not be able to fix teeth that appear small. Inflammed gums can cause them to swell and make to teeth appear short so keep up with your hygiene. If after the braces are off, you still feel the same, you may look into gingivectomy or crown lengthening. Be aware that if you are young, sometimes you just need time for your gums to settle at the final level.

Talk with dentist: If the gums are unchanged from when the braces were put on it may require removing some of the gum tissue. If the gums have gotten larger despite your best efforts, you might try brushing with a toothpaste containing xylotol. If that does not work i would suggest talking with your dentist about the problem.

Tooth size genetic: You can't change tooth size other than restoratively (surgically), but you can change gum size. Ask your orthodontic specialist to refer you to a gum specialist (periodontist) for an evaluation. Ask if a water pik would help.
