Likely a cavity: If it only hurt when you chew , it could be just a space or bite problem that may be addressed with restorative dentistry or braces. Because of the temperature sensitivity, it leads me to believe that it's a cavity or gum disease process that is affecting the nerve. See your dentist any time an issue lasts more than 3 days.
