Brush your tongue!: Your problem could be related to two situations: 1. If started to happen right after your root canal treatment, is very possible that some "liquid, medication, etc"spilled on your tongue and your taste papillae are reacting. Symptoms should disappear in a few days as you rinse frequently. 2. Injury to the lingual branch or nerve that runs by that area. Don't panic. Wait and see.
