I recently had a root canal, since the procedure i have had a bad taste in my mouth. what would cause this?

Drainage: There may be drainage of bacteria from either end of the treated tooth, or the temporary filling may be reaching down. Please call the Dentist or Endodontic Specialist who did your treatment and review your concerns. Additional treatment may be required.

Medication: The medication placed in the root canal chamber between visits does not taste good. It may be leaking out past the temporary filling material. It is quite common and usually subsides after a day or two.
