Yes, your synthroid (thyroxine): Dose should be adjusted until TSH is in normal range, high normal if you need to suppress thyroid function for cancer. Because half life of thyroid hormone is two weeks, any TSH measurements and dose adjustments should be done gradually. Consult with your doctor for specific advice.
