You need an exam: A hole in your gum sounds troubling. If it is near an erupting tooth, it isn't necessarily a major issue but it could be. Please see a dentist and get evaluated asap. The white lining similarly could be benign or it could be evidence of underlying pathology that may require treatment. Many issues involving oral health aren't painful so that is less important than getting assessed.

See dentist: The hole in your gums concerns me and i recommend you call your dentist to have it evaluated, then proper treatment can be discussed and begun to solve this problem. The white line, i assume, is on the cheek? If it is, this is a normal condition called linea alba, which means white line. It's just a reaction of the cheek tissue to thicken up because it is being irritated by your teeth.
