Vascular Neurology: It is hard to be certain, but this sounds like a transient ischemic attack, a transient focal brain dysfunction triggered by transient interruption of blood flow to that particular area of the brain. This could be precursor of a stroke although other conditions can mimic that. I suggest immediate evaluation with your physician for proper testing that can include a carotid ultrasound and brain mri.

Can be neuralgia,,,: What you're describing might be a form of neuralgia where a nerve supplying muscles, etc. On your face or head or jaws gets stimulated and causes abnormal neural sensations such as pain and numbness. This may be a one time thing or it can go on throughout a person's life. It would be wise to see your doctor for an exam, especially if it happens again or you're worried.
