Many possibilities: Could be your wisdom tooth, could be an abscess, could be irritation, could be a cavity. Why guess? Have a local dentist examine you and let you know what he/she can do for you to solve your problem.

Wisdom tooth?: If your wisdom teeth(3rd molars) never came in this could be from an impacted 3rd molar.
