I had an ultrasound done and it came back that the pancreatic duct is measuring between 2.5 and 3.5 mm. isn't it considered dilated? or normal? i'm 36

Any prior history of gallstone pain or possible pancreatitis? The duct can appear larger on x-ray cholangiograms but that reflects the injection of contrast into the duct while ultrasound shows the duct in a baseline state.
