I had an ultrasound done and it came back that the pancreatic duct is measuring between 2.5 and 3.5 mm. isn't it considered dilated? or normal? i'm 36

It's Normal size: That is the expected size of the pancreatic duct.

Borderline: The pancreatic duct on ultrasound in a female of your age would be around 2 mm in diameter. Your measurements are borderline dilated. Any prior history of gallstone pain or possible pancreatitis? The duct can appear larger on x-ray cholangiograms but that reflects the injection of contrast into the duct while ultrasound shows the duct in a baseline state.
