No: About 20% of the population has a pituitary adenoma/tumor and do not know it. Surgery or medical therapy for clinically nonfunctioning adenomas is not indicated during pregnancy. Pregnancy may cause an increase in the size of tumors that secrete prolactin, especially macroadenomas, so close surveillance is indicated and use of Dopamine agonist therapy may be needed.

Pituitary tumor: There have been reports of increased risk of bleeding into the tumor during the pregnancy but this is quite rare.
