Four to Six Weeks: You should plan to take a minimum of two weeks off from work and then plan to work a reduced and/or modified schedule for your first two weeks back to work. Hi. The recovery is one to two weeks, and at 6 weeks you will be able to resume unrestricted activity. While it takes an average of 4-6 months for the final results to manifest, you can already return to work within 1-2 weeks following your tummy tuck procedure. You will also need to keep wearing your compression garments for 4-8 weeks.
