A member asked:

What is the best treatment for mild distal esophagitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on symptoms: Can start with an h2 blocker (ranitidine, famotidine) and if symptoms do not respond then would start with a low dose ppi (proton pump inhibitor) such as omeprazole) or an equivalent.
