A doctor has provided 1 answer

various possibilitie: Persistantly elevated heartrate (tachycardia) and palpitations (irregular heart beat) can be due to various causes: medications, anxiety illness with arousal state dysregulation, endocrine disorders, illegal drugs, and various tumors, just to name a few. Sometimes people have tachycardia and palpitations with the only findings being high normal values (eg of thyroid or adrenal hormones).
