A member asked:

Will uti hurt unborn baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: I assume you mean a UTI you have. Other than increase the risk of premature labor, your UTI is rather isolated from baby and does not pose an infection risk. The meds you will take for the UTI are fine to take in pregnancy, if you tell the doc you are pregnant.
