What causes uti in babies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confusing question: UTI's are caused by germs at any age. In younger patients you would be concerned about abnormalities in the urinary tract and outflow structures that could predispose the kid to UTI's. Simple entrapment of urine flow by a redundant foreskin or knitting of the labia can predispose them ti UTI's.
