Not generally: While a simple bladder infection should not hurt a fetus, some of the antibiotics used to treat the infection are contraindicated. Getting systemically ill from a kidney infection can harm a pregnancy. Uti is non-specific in that it does not differentiate between a kidney infection or a bladder infection, both of which are urinary tract. Both should be treated dealt with sooner rather than later.
