Foods high in iron: After blood loss, you want foods high in iron. Some examples are red meat, eggs (with yolks), dark leafy greens like spinach and collards, beans, lentils, chickpeas, mollusks (clams, oysters, scallops, etc), liver, and artichokes. You also want to be sure you're well-hydrated.
