Remain active: Staying active is the best treatment. Medication wise there are several excellent medications approved for fm. Cymbalta, savella (milnacipran) and lyrica. Try massage as well.

Exercise plus other: Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain syndrome. It is made worse by many things, especially poor sleep and/or poor exercise and/or poor control of stress or psychological issues. You need to be evaluated to see which of these or if all of these may be your problems. Directing therapy to these with sleep evaluation, an exercise program and stress reduction can help. You need individualized program.
