Yes for many: But not all. There are 3 fda approved medications for fibromyalgia. Cymbalta, Lyrica and savella (milnacipran). The most important way to treat this condition is to be sure you have the right diagnosis. Many get diagnosed with this condition because their doctor cannot find an answer to their pain. This diagnosis should come definitively from a rheumatologist, physiatrist or pain management specialist.

Yes but slowly: Unfortunately there is no magical relief careful trial of the three fda indicated drugs, savella, (milnacipran) lyrica, and Cymbalta at different times as well as correcting sleep problems with specific medications and the use of various physical modalities and gradual aerobic excercize.
