after a workout...what does it mean if a mans nipples burn?

Is it your shirt?: If you wear a shirt and are engaging in physical activity that causes mechanical friction against your breasts (i.e. The shirt is rubbing against your nipples while you exercise), then this may be the cause of your irritation.  Most women wear a sports bra, so they don't have this problem as much.   In some patients, if they are not used to exercising, sweating itself causes itching/burning.

: New exercise programs can be taxing on the body if started too abruptly. Side effects like muscle cramps, burning in the chest and pain with breathing can all be common of an exercise regimen that did not ramp up slowly. Try cutting back on time, distance or speed and slowly build up to more aggressive levels over several months. As your body builds muscle and cardio endurance, symptoms decrease.

Chest infection: The term "chest infection" has little medical meaning because it does not characterize the area of the chest involved. If this is pneumonia (infection of lung tissue) and you are having "burning" and a cough would strongly suggest you go back and be re-examined and be sure that you are not becoming worse.  And stop smoking.

i have slight pain in 2 breasts comes and goes. no lumps. my nipples sometimes contracts sometimes burns a little . im so worried please help.

Breasts can become: tender at different times of cycle. especially 1 week before the period.

so more than likely at your age it does not mean anything bad.

excess caffeine can cause breast pain also

Nipple eczema: Could be a possible cause of burning and sensitive and occasionally red nipples which can be treated/managed.  There are a number of other breast conditions however that can present with nipple problems and so need to have an examination to sort through all these.  Please see a doctor to assess further.

my skin is itching all over. if i scratch it burns. my nipples are burning like fire. nothing can touch my skin without it burning. i have taken allergic tablets and it doesnt change any symptoms?

See a physician.: This sounds like multiple different issues. Nipple pain could be topical irritation from chaffing or something serious, especially if the nipples are dried,flaky and appear chapped. The heart burn is usually esophogeal reflux, but could also be heart pain. The burning when breathing may be bronchitis. You need to be seen to evaluate these multiple issues.

can gerd eventually hurt chest muscles? my chest burns i have no heart issues my upper back burns too my upper arms tingle and my nipples hurt

Probably not : Gerd can cause heartburn but should not cause chest and upper back pain and tingling. This may be a problem with your neck or the nerves or muscles around it. You should see your primary doctor and a physiatrist.

Gastric reflux: In a young person, this is commonly gerd. Rarely if ever cardiac. Must also consider hiatal hernia.
