Depending on when these scratching and burning of skin started; it could be anything from Allergy to what one is eating/drinking or even the lotion/cream/oil one rubs on the body. One must search carefully for recent changes in these areas that might be inducing this symptoms. Infestations are possible too. A visit to the PCP for Physical Examination and Laboratory investigation is encouraged
