@ 2 months ago a vein in left hand has been bulging @ 1/4" and is painful to the touch, today another vein on left hand is now sensitive. suggestions?

Thrombophlebitis: Superficial veins can develop clots in them called "superficial thrombophlebtitis" -- this is typically not dangerous, and should get better with Motrin and warm compresses.

Probably not serious: Veins anywhere in the body usually  cause no symptoms unless they have a problem such as a clot, inflammation or trauma.  There are also many nerves in your hand which can cause similar symptoms.  If your vein was the source of the burning it should show some signs of irritation such as swelling, hardness, red color or inflammation.  Try local care with heat and ibuprofen. If no better, see an md.

Bulging veins in left hand.: Seems that you have venous drainage obstruction. Any history of injury?, unusual position for long time, such as with computers,  etc.
You need a Dr. have a good examination, venous ultrasound/Doppler, or even better, have a contrast venogram and asses at what level is the occlusion, a non functional valve, or other condition.  The examination should extend from the axilla to the end of the affect

Phlebitis: Maybe they are inflamed and you have phlebitis.  If it continues, see your dr.

my veins on my wrist have pretty much always been pretty visible but now the veins in my hands (left hand specifically) are extremely visible as well, i only noticied in bathroom lighting. no pain, no swelling, no redness. should i be concerned?

Hand veins: Tortuous veins on the back of the hand usually indicate nothing serious. One way to tell if the veins are pathologic is to raise your arm above the level of your heart and they should normally collapse. If they don't collapse there could be an obstruction in the veins above the hand by a blood clot for example.

Vein: We see that after an IV or a trauma to the vein. It is a form of superficial phlebitis or might be a sore tendon and not the vien. A dioc would have to be sure.

All Is Not In Vein: So-I assume it's long and thin and maybe a little curvy?I want you to hang your hand all the way down and see if it fills up. And if it does,then raise it above the level of your heart and see if it goes flat.If so it's a vein.Welcome to the human race.If not, if it stays flat all the time it may be an old occluded vein(? past trauma?).If none of that works, and it's not a tattoo, get it looked at

My not be vein.: Common caused of tingling and numbness in the hand are usually related to nerve problems such as carpal tunnel or ulnar nerve irritation.  The bulging vein may have no relationship to the tingling and numbness.  Other causes of your symptoms could be arterial with decrease blood into the hand but this would not cause a vein to bulge.  You should certainly follow up with your physician.
