i've recently been having throbbing pain in neck/head, please help me?

Migraine ?: Migraine  with neck triggers. Usually is one-sided, mostly in women and associated with blurred vision, tinnitus, lacrimation, sensitivity to light/noise, nausea and neck/arm pain. At this point if the headache &gt;14 days/month is considered episodic and easier to manage.
Se your headache specialist for evaluation and preventative treatment.

Herniated Disc: It maybe that in your neck. An MRI of your neck would help answer the question.

Throbbing NOT= vein: If the pain is throbbing and you can feel that in your neck area, this suggests likely arterial--the carotid artery. I am not sure what other medical conditions you have and/or medications you are taking, thus difficult to advise you. If this is severe and persisting, I would recommend an evaluation. If sudden in onset, an arterial dissection (bleeding into the wall) is a possible cause.

History and exam: No way to provide an answer without a thorough history and exam.  It says that you are pregnant, which could possibly be contributing to your issues due to change in posture and hormone changes.

Facet, disc,nerve: You may have irritated a higher cervical facet joint. Less likely you could have a cervical nerve root irritation or an occipital nerve irritation. Try gentle heating pads, ice, range of motion of your head and neck, gentle stretching, and go see your doctor to see if physiotherapy, medications like antiinflammatories, anti-spasmodics, nerve medications or injections may help you. Dissection?: Carotid artery dissection could do that. If no other symptoms, see doctor asap.

See MD asap: Depending on any other symptoms you may have (were you lifting anything heavy recently; did you have a cold or other virus recently): neck pain shooting to the head and eye needs to be evaluated for a carotid dissection, which is rare. Otherwise it might be muscular pain, but vascular causes must be ruled out.

i have this throbbing pain right in my neck where my pulse is. no swelling. this is the second day and it feels worse. hurts to extend and touch neck.

Neck pain: most likely muscle spasm, take some motrins or Tylenol, if no help - see a doctor

Musculo Skeletal: The description of your symptoms and the normal blood work and EKG suggest that this is a musculo- skeletal problem. Muscle strain from using the crutch. Try a little Tylenol (acetaminophen) or some Ibuprofen or Aleve as directed and see if that helps.

throbbing pain in right side neck across shoulder an down arm could this be as fractured bone in the neck? on day 6 now with severe pain

Depends on history: If you had a trauma (fall, car accident, etc) then a fractured bone is possible and you should get an xray or ct scan asap.  If no trauma, you could still have a pinched nerve and evaluation with health care provider and imaging is still a good idea.
