i am under a lot of stress and anxiety lately, i also feel as though i am battling depression. have noticed that the upper part of my chest is blotchy red along with my face but my neck appears to be pale. is this a symptom of stress, anxiety, depression?

Could be: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.  Wish you good health!

Solution at hand!: Palpitation is the perception of your heart beating faster or stronger. You have multiple reasons and solutions at hand: dehydration – need to increase fluid and electrolyte intake, alcohol dehydrates you too. Albuterol – this should be use only as rescue up to every 4hrs, you need to use the control medication for asthma, the excessive use aggravates anxiety, check with your MD if no control med.

Some are very aware of anxiety, others have symptoms like migraines, some have a variety of symptoms not consistent w what we know about the way the body works.However, anxiety on top of an illness can alter the symptoms, &amp; some ailments do have complex/unusual symptoms. Not Usually: Concor is a beta blocker, mostly used to decrease blood pressure. It may also slow down the pulse a little, and prevent certain kinds of extra premature heartbeats.  While it is not an anti-anxiety medication, and does not treat the cause of anxiety, it may help if your heart beats very fast or if your BP goes way up during an anxiety attack. Too  low BP and slow pulse is a possible side effect.

: These are excellent questions. Stress, anxiety or other emotions definitely are not the cause of asthma, but they can trigger outbreaks in people with asthma.
