Not Usually: Concor is a beta blocker, mostly used to decrease blood pressure. It may also slow down the pulse a little, and prevent certain kinds of extra premature heartbeats. While it is not an anti-anxiety medication, and does not treat the cause of anxiety, it may help if your heart beats very fast or if your BP goes way up during an anxiety attack. Too low BP and slow pulse is a possible side effect.
