SVT: When you say SVT-there are several ones (for example, AVnRT, AVRT, atrial tachycardia etc). Depending on which type, these may spontaneously abort and in some cases recur. First line treatment is medical therapy as in your case. If you continue to have symptoms despite optimal medical therapy, an electrophysiologic study and ablation of an abnormal electrical pathway may help.

Arhtiritis: Thank you for the great question.  Crunching and pain in both knees is a common complaint typically occurs later in life.   Most of the time, this is a sign of "osteoarthritis".  Basically your joints are not as young as they used to be!  You should see your doctor for a proper evaluation.  The best way to treat OA is with exercise, stretching and over the counter pain medicines as needed.

Stair climbing: For the most part, given a fairly normal knee- stair climbing would be quite helpful because it give the quadriceps muscles (on top of the thighs) a good workout.

Heart rate: When describing too fast, the heart needs to be able to speed up or slow down appropriately. If it does not, then headaches can develop. Other aspects to consider to are the Blood pressure. If it does not go up appropriately or go's up too high, then headaches, and even dizziness can develop. Plus at your age, anemia causing low oxygen transfer to heart, brain, etc..

Go see your Dr : And get checked for nerve inflammation, pinched nerve, diabetes etc.You mentioned high pitched breathing which could be a sign of asthma, bronchitis or emphysema. Take care!

Trauma: You suffered trauma to a complex joint. Do you know if there is internal damage? How long ago did it occur? Is it swollen? Do you have limited range of motion? Has ant-ray or MRI been done? Please, you need to be seen by a physician, preferably by a specialist Orthopedic Surgeon. You may be doing damage by walking on that injured knee.

Options: Without a history of trauma, it could be a form of arthritis.  I would recommend evaluation by either a rheumatologist or podiatrist.
