Not an aneurysm: You would not form an aneurysm from bumping your head only a bruise.

Correct information?: This concerns me a lot.  If you possess an un-ruptured brain aneurysm, why are you taking aspirin?  As if it were to rupture, you would have a tougher time stopping the bleeding, which would increase your mortality risk.  I highly recommend a second opinion to get this clarified, as you do not list any rationale for use of aspirin.

See your doctor: If you have no symptoms from it, you can follow it with serial scans every 506 months. Do not get pregnant and treat any hypertension.
See your local vascular surgeon and interventional radiologist to go over scans, history and risk factors. If it ruptures you have a 80-90% chance of dying. Best wishes.

Some, yes.: An atrial septal aneurism is a bulging and weakening of the muscular wall between the right &amp; left atria.  Few patients have complications.  Rarely, blood clots can form around the aneurism and very rarely rupture can occur. The risk of complications is reduced by judicious use of blood thinners, control of rhythm abnormalities and blood pressure, and maintaining a heart healthy diet &amp; life style.

The results vary: Stent  replacement of aneurysms of the abdomen are increasing inuse..The results, barring immediate complications such as leak ( endleak) are comparable today with open surgical repair.

Like coronary stents: The placement of an Internal mesh of wires which act as a reinforcement for the artery walls.  Usually placed from the groin, where the "cage" of wires are threaded to correct placement, then expanded. Very similar to coronary artery stenting but about 10 to 15 times larger in diameter.  And much longer.

my mo 49yrs, had endovascular coiling for intracranial anuerysm of carotid artery a week ago. now coin size purple clots behind knees of both legs. ??

Follow up appt ASAP: Needs to be seen by her physician for follow up. She is probably still taking anticoagulation medication like coumadin (warfarin). This can lead to hematomas in areas of injury. Some people have such bleeding after taking a platelet inactivator such as ibuprofen or aspirin.

Pressure: The change is likely due to the aneurysm affecting nearby tissue.  It can do this in many ways.  It can bleed, causing inflammation and damage to the adjacent brain tissue, or it can put pressure on the adjacent brain tissue.  Also, if the aneurysm changes in size, this can affect adjacent brain tissue as well.

brain aneurysm coiled 7 yrs ago. migraine aura returned told possible cause is platlet activation on coils. is this common very worried. if so why would this happen after all this time? also what can be done? thank you?

? migraine: Migraine auras and headaches have innumerable potential triggers, and prior neurological events can setup future cascades of neurochemical dysfunction.  If platelet activation is truly the mechanism, a platelet inhibitor like ASA could help.  However, if this is truly migraine aura, could break up a pattern via use of a migraine preventative, and I would propose trying the latter first.

i underwent celiac artery aneurysm embolization by coil occlusion. it was successful but can i suffer complications later?  i'm 44 and concerned

Embolization effect: When  embolized , collaterals develop ; intestines,  liver are 2 areas that get redistribution. Effect also depends on your individual anatomy. Would avoid too many liver toxins - alcohol , fatty foods,wt,  Most studies f/u 2 years not 20-30 yet. But people have organs removed and flow has to be redirected so I would not worry. Without embolization there is rupture risk which is devastating
