Follow up appt ASAP: Needs to be seen by her physician for follow up. She is probably still taking anticoagulation medication like coumadin (warfarin). This can lead to hematomas in areas of injury. Some people have such bleeding after taking a platelet inactivator such as ibuprofen or aspirin.

Call the doctor: Best to call the doctor that performed the procedure right away. If unavailable, call your primary care. If still unavailable, may need to go to the emergency room, especially if there is swelling in the legs. May be nothing, but complications are always possible. Hope this helps!
