Why r u waiting?: If she is swelling badly, she needs to be taken immediately to her physician or dentist to determine the cause. You are not qualified to determine if she has decay... It could be in an area you cannot see, and she may have an abscess. Very dangerous situation.

Rule out teeth: Your pain symptoms are diverse, confused, and not specific.  All you can do is rule-out the teeth as a source of your pain by going to the dentist and getting and examination with x-rays.  Then you must fix whatever is wrong in the hope of stopping your pain. If the dentist says nothing is  wrong then you must go to the physician, because your pain could be serious.  I would not wait long.

Common patters: A lot of infant viral infections will have fever for a few days and end in a generalized rash. Some have names based on location and type of rash, but they are expected and rather benign.I'd consider the crying evidence it is not finished.As long as the kid takes fluids well and plays occasionally you can monitor at home.If not drinking the kid should be seen.

Keep area clean/dry: Clean the drool area with a gentle soap and water. Avoid irritation to the skin and a mild moisturizer without fragrance may be applied. Avoid Vaseline for now since it may trap moisture.

Not usually: Teething does not cause "lumpy cheeks". If they are drooling a lot from teething they may get a drool rash on their cheeks and neck but that is it. Most people would describe this as a mild rash, not as "lumpy". If this is what you meant, then it is normal and will resolve when drooling stops. If questionable then have an exam by a pediatric dentist. They will be able to tell you if this is normal.

Teething: Teething often associated with excess salivation/mucous  which in turn may be associated with vomiting and diarrhea.  But those symptoms can also be caused by a virus infection.  Important that you keep your child hydrated.  Call your Pediatrician for examination/advice.  Also take your child to a Pediatric Dental Specialist at her 1st birthday for initial oral evaluation &amp; care program.

DERMATITIS: Heat rash are usually in the body, fine, itchy  and flaky. Eczematoid rash are localized in any part of the body, cubital, popliteal, face and characterized by your description. It responds to moisturizer or steroid cream.
