My 7 month old baby has developed a rash on her cheeks and chin. it is very red. i thought it was because of drooling as she is teething, but it just flared up suddenly and didnt respond to vaseline as a barrier cream.

Keep area clean/dry: Clean the drool area with a gentle soap and water. Avoid irritation to the skin and a mild moisturizer without fragrance may be applied. Avoid Vaseline for now since it may trap moisture.
