The least expensive supplements are made of whey protein (milk). Don't pay more for "hydrolyzed" proteins (pre-digested into amino acids. The claims they work better are unsubstantiated!

Here's a better idea: If you were to believe 10% of the claim on the "supplement" sites, you'd be reading uncritically.
