Exercise for back: Low back pain is a very common symptom due to several issues. Strengthening the back as well as abdominal muscles provides better support to the spine aquatics are the best exercises. Swimming is good but even walking in water about neck deep can provide significant relief. Exercises should be mild and aerobic in nature to avoid further damage to the spine.

Low carb!: Exercise will help tone your pooch and love nadles, but not selectively lose fat.  You are an apple by definition.  You need to follow a low carb lifestyle, not only to kee "svelte" but also to prevent cholsterol and BP issues! core strengthening exercise and crunches are best!

Work w/nutritionist: I suggest working with a nutritionist who can go over what you're eating, and make suggestions tailored to you.  S/he can review your goals against what you're actually doing, and see what changes might help.  Please understand, though -- healthy weight loss is ongoing, not immediate. You may also benefit from a strength training program 2-3 days/week, in addition to the aerobics you're doing now.

Nutrition & exercise: Aside from plastic surgery, there is no spot reduction. Via nutrition & exercise, you lose fat all over (although some claim more in one area than others). But spot reduction is not realistic via any specific exercise. Focus instead on lifestyle eg proper nutrition & regular intense physical activity. It's also good for your health.

No: Despite what you may have read or been told, it's really not possible to "spot reduce". No exercise will cause you to lose weight selective from around the waist. Your best choice is to focus on a lot of cardio, and self-education about eating; this will cause your brain to normalize your appetite and getting trim will come naturally. Best wishes.

Global wt. loss!: Can't spot reduce. You are obviously not losing weight, but if you are, it is not as fast where you wan't.  Weigh yourself daily, cut carbs,  nd exercise. Your "love" handles should improve!

You : You may be in good health, but as an asian, the criteria for central obesity is different than for caucasians.  For an asian male, a waist greater than 35.5 inches constitutes central obesity.  Combined with an two of the following constitutes metabolic syndrome:
1) triglyceride level >150 mg/dl
2) reduced HDL cholesterol <40 mg/dl
3) elevated bp
4) fasting blood sugan >100 mg/dl

so the only real way to lose those love handles is diet, exercise and medications if necessary.

Get evaluated: Lordosis is just a label applied to the inward curve of the spine in the lower back. A certain amount is normal &amp; by itself is not a disease or defect. If yours is excessive any treatment would depend on finding out why. Your regular doc can start the process &amp; may do tests or send you to a physical therapist.
