Low carb!: Exercise will help tone your pooch and love nadles, but not selectively lose fat. You are an apple by definition. You need to follow a low carb lifestyle, not only to kee "svelte" but also to prevent cholsterol and BP issues! core strengthening exercise and crunches are best!

Avoid: Foods that are processed, excessively sweet, that contain simple carbohydrates..Foods that are "white"....Rice, breads, pasta, mayonnaise, cream, etc. Generally are to be avoided (for the most part) if you are serious about reducing truncal fat. Tapering of one's food intake later in the day, together with a vigorous exercise regimen, can do wonders!
