You : You may be in good health, but as an asian, the criteria for central obesity is different than for caucasians. For an asian male, a waist greater than 35.5 inches constitutes central obesity. Combined with an two of the following constitutes metabolic syndrome: 1) triglyceride level >150 mg/dl 2) reduced HDL cholesterol <40 mg/dl 3) elevated bp 4) fasting blood sugan >100 mg/dl so the only real way to lose those love handles is diet, exercise and medications if necessary.

Exercise: Continue to do aerobic exercise, and realize it takes time. You didnt get those love handles in a day or a week or a month. Eat fewer calories than you need in a day to help your body lose the fat in that area. Slow loss of one pound a week would be best advised. Consult a dietician if you need help in a meal plan that will help. Most of all- dont give up.
