A few weeks.: Your body will physically recover within 1 day, but your eyes may take a few weeks.  Most patients have functional vision within 1 week but they may require as much as a month for the vision to completely stabilize at which time the new refractive status can be determined and glasses or contacts prescribed.

A few days: For routine, uneventful cataract surgery most patients are back to their "normal" routine within a few days. Several factors affect how long it takes to recover, i.e., the age of the patient, overall health of the patient and whether there are other co-morbidities such as uncontrolled diabetes, glaucoma, or medications that can present a problem during surgery.

2 weeks: Assuming uncomplicated surgery, most surgeons would advise that you avoid submerging your head in water for about 2 weeks after the surgery. The full healing time can be around 6-8 weeks but 90% of it occurs within the first 7-10 days.

Depends, often 1 wk: Presuming that cataract surgery is uncomplicated,  i ask my patients to avoid submerging the eye in water (no pools, hot tubs, etc.) and to avoid strenuous activity for one week and avoid eye rubbing for 2-3 weeks.  Many patients have fairly good vision within the first few days after cataract surgery, although blur can persist for weeks if there is significant corneal swelling or other issues.

All variable:  Duration of operation depends on the dexterity of the surgeon, the equipment available,and complexity of the disease. Should be painless but there may be post operative pain. Different people recover at different rates depending on personal factors. The procedure usually doesn’t need admission

Each doc is differen: Every ophthalmologist has their own time frame for strenuous activity after cataract surgery. A lot of that depends on if the cataract surgery was difficult or even had a complication or stitch. However, I am not aware of any evidence that gives a specific time frame that is safe. The best answer i can give is ask your surgeon because only he knows what went on on your individual surgery.

No concern: Cataract surgery usually heals much faster, is almost painless, and the tooth extraction will not affect the cataract surgery or visa versa.

Visual : Visual recovery is usually rapid after cataract surgery.  My patients are often able to return to work one or two days after their surgery, depending on the occupation.  Normally only one eye is operated on at time, which will leave your vision unchanged in the eye that is not having surgery .  Your eye surgeon will be glad to advise you about returning to work.  The improvement in vision from cataract surgery should make it all seem worthwhile.
