A few weeks.: Your body will physically recover within 1 day, but your eyes may take a few weeks. Most patients have functional vision within 1 week but they may require as much as a month for the vision to completely stabilize at which time the new refractive status can be determined and glasses or contacts prescribed.

Variable.: Should be comfortable in less than 24 hours, with vision starting to improve rapidly starting the next morning after surgery, taking up to a week to clear completely. You should be able to return to normal activities the next day. This is for routine uncomplicated procedure.
