Rapid procedure: Cataract surgery is a painless rapid recovery procedure that is outpatient and permanently cures tr patient of the cataract. There are now laser and traditional phaco procedures. The surgeon removes the cataract and replaces the lens implant not made of plastic but acrylic or silicone material.
