A few days: For routine, uneventful cataract surgery most patients are back to their "normal" routine within a few days. Several factors affect how long it takes to recover, i.e., the age of the patient, overall health of the patient and whether there are other co-morbidities such as uncontrolled diabetes, glaucoma, or medications that can present a problem during surgery.

A few days : You will be back on your feet the same day but might be a little tired from the sedation you received. This is usually gone by the next day. Your eye and vision usually take several days to a few weeks to heal and stabilize.
