would i be putting myself at any risk of dry socket by drinking alcohol (mainly beer) two weeks after a tooth extraction? it's worth noting granulation tissue has already formed as well?

: NO RISK- AT TWO WEEKS HEALING HAS BEGUN TO CLOSE UP EXTRACTION SITE. A DRY SOCKET WOULD HAVE OCCURED WHITHIN A FEW DAYS IF NO BLOOD CLOT HAD FORMED.HAVE A MOLSON ON ME .

Salt water gargles: will help prevent infection and encourage healing after a tooth extraction.  Granulation tissue, which is part of the natural healing process, can look concerning to the untrained eye.  Surrounding redness and/or worsening pain are common signs of infection.

Black goo: Typically, this is normal but if it is thick, it is referred to as a liver clot.  It is abnormal clot formation.

i am 5 days post extraction.   my socket filled with white stinky tissue.  it is now black on th 5th,day and shrinking.   should i be concerned?

Extraction?: If you mean a tooth extraction, it sounds like you may have dry socket.  You need to call the dentist who is caring for you to get recommendations.

i had a tooth extraction 4 days ago, i'm still in a bit of pain and there's now some yellowish tissue in the socket. should i be worried?

You will live: totally normal and you will be just fine.  the mouth is a moist environment and the site/clotted area will take on many colors as it is healing (yellowish being one of those colors).  Just keep it clean;)

5 DAYS: Typically, most dry sockets develop in the first 5 days or so. So you are still at a reasonable risk. When gum tissues start to cover the area, thus trapping the clotted blood underneath, you are at a better chance of uneventful recovery and healing. Make sure to follow the surgeon's/dentist's post-op instructions, and if something is not feeling normal, contact the office.

5 days post extraction. slight throbbing in my other teeth. clot does not look like it is there dark brown and whitish up there. is this dry socket?

Could be: Day three is the start time for dry socket symptoms in general. See your surgeon as soon as you can. Meantime , keep it clean, don't poke around in there , and take ibuprofen as needed. Good Luck.

i've been struggling with terrible anxiety post molar extraction. i'm now on day 10 of healing. can i stop panicking about dry socket? i still have white tissue visible while the gums are healing, no pain, etc. is it bad i'm not fully healed yet?

: Relax. Stop panicking. Stop looking in your mouth. You appear to be healing fine without worry of a dry socket.

Post-surgical pain: By this time the surgical site should be healing and pain gradually diminishing.  If not, return to your treating Dentist or specialist Zoral Surgeon for re-evaluation.  Additional treatment and/or medication may be indicated.
