Extraction?: If you mean a tooth extraction, it sounds like you may have dry socket. You need to call the dentist who is caring for you to get recommendations.

Follow up dentist: Sounds like a good time to follow up with your dentist to find out. It could be dried blood. If you have increasing pain and or fever, seek help right away.
