A member asked:

Would i be putting myself at any risk of dry socket by drinking alcohol (mainly beer) two weeks after a tooth extraction? it's worth noting granulation tissue has already formed as well?

NO RISK- AT TWO WEEKS HEALING HAS BEGUN TO CLOSE UP EXTRACTION SITE. A DRY SOCKET WOULD HAVE OCCURED WHITHIN A FEW DAYS IF NO BLOOD CLOT HAD FORMED.HAVE A MOLSON ON ME .

Agreed ,the tooth socket has pretty much healed in two weeks but still must be very tender , Make sure to avoid eating hard food on the side .Just drinking Beer will not cause any harm .
