5 days post extraction. slight throbbing in my other teeth. clot does not look like it is there dark brown and whitish up there. is this dry socket?

Could be: Day three is the start time for dry socket symptoms in general. See your surgeon as soon as you can. Meantime , keep it clean, don't poke around in there , and take ibuprofen as needed. Good Luck.

It is possible: It develops in about 5% of tooth extractions. See your surgeon/dentist for post op evaluation and dry socket prevention treatment.

5 Days Post Op: It is best to call your own dentist and discuss this issue. Post operative evaluation is part of the routine responsibility of the treating dentist. A dry socket is not the only concern here and therefore it should be evaluated asap. Why wait and take a chance?
