Dizzy : It may make you feel dizzy.  May cause ringing in ears or funny taste in mouth.  Will not make you high.

Bleeding: Source of bleeding has to be identified and addressed.  Return immediately to the practitioner that removed your lipoma.

MRI needed: While there are some benign reasons for developing a numb area, you really need a formal neurological exam and probably an mri.

: I would ask team doing the injection neutrophiles can tend to aggregate along vessel walls and in the spleen.  A shot of epinephrine, if if gets directly into you blood stream, can make spleen contract and may disturb peripheral count for a bit. Was the injection being given to drain an infection. Infection can increase neurophil %.  Discuss with local team what is "normal" in folks like you there

No: there should be no changes in birth control effects from local anesthesia

i had x-rays taken of my teeth and have to have 2 cavities filled at the dentist this week. we want to try to conceive next week. is this safe now? can the dentist use local anesthesia or does it stay in your blood for a long time?

: There are no lingering effects from the treatment you had which will preclude you from trying to conceive at this time. The effect of x-rays are instntaneous, and the anesthetic is denatured in the liver and are gone in a day.

Metabolism: Anesthetic gases  are eliminated by lung , drugs are metabolized by liver , excreted  by kidneys.

i have a procedure w/ anesthesia coming up in 6 days and from looking it up i realized that some adaptogens and supplements i take might have blood thinning effects. would it be enough if i were to stop taking them now, 6 days ahead?

: In rare instances, a medication or supplement's effect may last 2 weeks. However, regarding the bleeding risk, stopping medication 6 days before the procedure is usually enough. Like aspirin with long anti-platelet effect we usually ask patient to stop it 7 days before the procedure but at times we have to do the procedure urgently after three days and we have not encountered significant bleeding.

blood clot in wrist after iv anesthesia. how do you treat this?

Accepted Answer

Any symptoms?: Do you have redness, swelling, pain, discharge at the IV site? If not merely keep an eye on it and your body will do the rest to naturally dissolve it. If you have the above symptoms, see your doctor for evaluation.

blood is infected due to medi-port. port will be removed under general  anesthesia. does it affect heart, especially after 9 cycles of taxol/herxeptin?

Accepted Answer

No: Removal of the port should not lead to heart damage.
