i've been dealing with some tooth pain but can't get into a dentist. i'm taking tramadol 50mg. is it ok to drink beer in the same day if spaced out?

Do not mix: The warnings specifically state to not drink alcohol. There may be residual medication in your system when you drink, resulting in impairment. Set priorities, get to a dentist. Pain will get worse and treatment more extensive (meaning expensive) the longer you wait.

:  It is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible to prevent further damage and alleviate the pain. Delaying needed dental care complicates treatment. Tramadol and gabapentin can be taken together but caution should be exercised due to the potential for increased sedation and respiratory depression.

: The chances of nerve damage are extremely low if not negligible. The chances of infections and sepsis from not treating those rotten teeth is much greater. You've neglected your health for a long time and now you don't have much of a choice but to be treated.  Failure to treat will only make things worse.

Yes: If you are suffering in pain then i would recommend that you be seen by a dentist who can determine the best course of treatment for you.

Extraction: You could have both done in the same day assuming your neck is able to sit back in the dental chair.

No more than 8/day!: The dosage for ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) is 1-2 tabs every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not use more than 8 tabs/day! also, it's very important to know that ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) contains Acetaminophen ("tylenol"), so you mustn't use any other medication containing Acetaminophen while using this drug. If you have breakthrough pain while using ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen), you may take aspirin, or Ibuprofen ("advil", "motrin"), or naproxyn ("aleve").

tooth pain for a year. finally go to dentist, they send me to endodontist. i have 4 cracked teeth. i now have to go see an orthodontist. i cant get in to see them for two months. who am i supposed to go to if the pain gets worse?

: Why do you have to go to see Orthodontist?  My thoughts are that Endodontist will be able to alleviate discomfort.  Ask Endodontist if he/she can get pain under control, because you can’t see Orthodontist for two months.  If Endodontist won’t help you, find another Endodontist.

Depends: Often the best way to get rid of wisdom tooth pain is to remove the wisdom tooth.  If the tooth has enough room and is just starting to erupt (teething!) through the gum tissue, keeping the area clean and staying healthy (and time) helps.  If the pain continues, see your dentist or oral surgeon.
